BETTER TO HAVE AN "OH WELL!" THAN A "WHAT IF?"
I have always been the sort of girl who throws herself into things at 100% effort. I'm a speed reader, a marathoner, a rescue dog mom, and the first person to laugh at my own mistakes. I think all of those traits are what add up to making me the storyteller and artist I am today - because if you aren't finding something to learn from or laugh at, what ARE you doing?

If you're looking for a more traditional bio, I'm the youngest of 3 kids in a family living on the side of a mountain in the Hudson Valley. My parents are from the Bronx and New Jersey, so I'm caffeinated, spunky, and a fast talker. I grew up in a tutu and ballet shoes, training in Vaganova-style ballet from the age of 5. As I got taller, older, and wiser, I spent my time training with the Bolshoi Ballet in CT, NY, and in Moscow on scholarship. I also attended programs with Ballet West, Orlando Ballet, and STEPS on Broadway. I spent my high school years performing with the Westchester Ballet Company, and then attended Butler University for 3.5 years (graduated early - remember the 100% trait?) where I would receive my Bachelor of Science in Dance and Arts Administration with a minor in Business Law, graduating cum laude and with departmental honors.

To backtrack a bit, though, my high school years at school were spent with the drama kids. I ate lunch in the choir room, climbed ladders while set-building during free periods, and spent my study halls forgoing trigonometry homework in favor of arranging music for the girls' acapella group (we were called the Love Notes, and yes, we loved Pitch Perfect). Music was always integrated into my education, a part of my school identity whereas my dance identity lived at the studio. I kept up with it where I could at college, but it wasn't until I graduated in December 2019 that I realized I wanted to do both with my life. I took 4 theatre jazz classes and then I walked into a New York City open call for A Chorus Line.

I'll give you a spoiler alert - I did NOT book that show, but I spent 5 hours in an audition room where I felt the most 'me' I had in my whole life. Here was the intersection of everything I loved; dance, music, and operating at 100%. It took a literal pandemic to stop me and sit me down once I started auditioning. But the moment I could, I was back in audition rooms and then in rehearsal rooms - and then, onstage. And now here we are - at the end of my bio, for now.
If you want to make this story longer, go explore my material and then reach out - let's find something new to learn from and laugh at together.
